A browlift helps elevate the forehead and eyebrow areas and greatly compliments the results of upper lid blepharoplasty and face and neck lift.

Typically a browlift is performed with use of an endoscope and this has the advantage of smaller incisions with more rapid healing and decreased numbness in the scalp area. The endoscope is a lighted telescope that assists in the elevation of the tissues of the forehead.

As part of the browlift, we weaken or remove the muscles that create the frown lines between the eyebrows. This greatly helps reduce the prominence of these wrinkle lines.

A brow lift is rarely performed as a stand alone procedure, but usually is done in conjunction with other facial surgery. This patient underwent total facial rejuvenation including a brow lift, blepharoplasty, rhinoplasty, facelift and laser skin resurfacing.	The brow lift and blepharoplasty opened up this patient's eyes and improved the furrows and sagging skin under her eyes.
