As the first physicians in the Huntsville area to offer HydraFacial, DYA Skin Health & Laser Center is pleased to introduce this new breakthrough in aesthetic technology to help you look healthy and radiant.
The HydraFacial treatment removes dead skin cells and extracts impurities while simultaneously bathing the new skin with cleansing, hydrating and moisturizing serums. The treatment is soothing, refreshing, non-irritating and immediately effective.
What is the HydraFacial?
HydraFacial is a patented, multi-step treatment that merges the feel of a soothing spa treatment with advanced medical technology giving you instantly softer, more hydrated skin.
What is a HydraFacial treatment like?
Each treatment uses a series of HydraPeel tips with gentle abrasive edges. First your skin is cleansed and dead skin cells are exfoliated. Then a gentle acid is applied to loosen debris from your pores. Painless vortex suction is then applied to extract and remove debris from congested pores. Finally, your skin is hydrated with a vortex-fusion system delivering antioxidants and hyaluronic acid deep into the skin
How long does a treatment take?
Typically a treatment takes 30-45 minutes to complete.
Is there pain involved?
No, a HydraFacial treatment is painless and very soothing.
What kind of skin problems can be treated with HydraFacial?
All types of skin will benefit from this treatment. Patients with enlarged, congested pores, those with dry or aging skin, and patients with active acne will notice a difference immediately.
How many treatments are needed?
Like many skin treatments you will notice a lasting effect when HydraFacial is done in a series. Since it is so gentle, many people choose to have one treatment every month. For patients with more resistant enlarged pores or acne we often recommend 4 treatments, one week apart, followed by monthly maintenance. HydraFacial is so effective, however, that you will see improvement with just one treatment!
Is there any special before or aftercare that is recommended with a HydraFacial?
Any skin type or skin color will benefit from treatment. It is recommended that you wait until a sun burn or windburn from outside activity subsides before having HydraFacial, but it is ok to proceed if you have a tan. After your treatment your skin health providers will recommend a good skin care regimen for you to follow to maintain your skin.
How much does HydraFacial cost?
The cost of the treatment depends upon whether you plan to have one or a series of treatments, and if you include the light therapy which is an optional part of this treatment. Stand-alone treatments run between $150-200.
